2008 Chevrolet Equinox FCEV Fuel Cell

LEARN MORE ABOUT THE EQUINOX WITH FUEL CELL: www.edmunds.com Not an hour after my chat with Tom Williams, another driver of a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox FCEV as part of GM Project Driveway, he leaves a message on my cell phone: “When I drove up to downtown LA from Orange County today, I got 60 miles to the kilogram. I don’t know about you, but I love that.” It’s the kind of excitement I’m used to hearing from truly motivated Prius owners. By any standard, the hydrogen-fueled Chevy Equinox fuel …

Japanese? They’re hardly big over there. They’re more loyal to their European cars. And our cars are made for Americans as I stated AKA too fucking big for the rest of the world.

  • RedNeck4Obama08 says:

Hell I don’t car about emissions I care about gas and hydrogen prices!

Actually, the American automakers own almost everyone else, so chances are, you drive a “yank car” (as you like to call it) and don’t even know it.

  • 818sexyboy says:

i would buy one if there is enough gas station for it

  • theoneagain says:

its all bullshit and GM ARE NOW GOING BUST SO SO MUCH FOR THE FUEL CELL GM

The Camry Hybrid has like 182 HP, and goes up to like 120-140 mph, and it’s a car! P.S. It also has better braking.

you can learn how to make your car run on water and burn hydrogen at: thegas4free.blogspot,com

I don’t know the original message your responding too, but if you think about it, in some situations, that’s the best choice.

  • superflyflexyguy says:

How much does a tank of hydrogen cost?

  • GigaSpinoTrex says:

    You mean hydrogen stations?

  • xXdome2Xx says:

I wouldn’t think it would be too expensive, even though it goes through processes, it’s still water you can find anywhwere, and if it was too expensive (more than gas) than why make the car!! For possibly no one may buy it, for possibly its heavy price on the car alone, and the cost to fuel it. Then JUST BUY A REGULAR CAR ALONE!!!

  • superflyflexyguy says:

Not everything alternative is cheaper. in these days of inconvenient truth and foreign oil dependency being a problem not all alternatives are cheaper, but still considered better. If it costs the same the same as gas but it catches on there will be more hydrogen refueling stations, there will be more invested in extracting hydrogen cheaper so prices will come down. until we start using enough hydrogen we cant go without it and they will skyjack the prices because, they can

  • gabrielbardas says:

this is not GREEN !!! Is taking the oxygen from outside!!! This is bad then gas!!!!

  • paolagzzgzz says:

I have the regular equinox… and I love it !

  • xXdome2Xx says:

You know, water powered cars are a cool and clean alternative than oil, but, if you think twice, isn’t it the same thing like oil. What I mean is it will be cheap and easy in the beginning, than cause damage later. I say this cause, to use water, we have to disrupt marine life, and make “territories” in water, like how the middle east has it. Water is a good alternative, but not the best. If we use solar, and air, we can literally have unlimited power.

come on man think again, this is very easy if you dont have stupid mind. which is most destructive, drilling the earth to get fossil fuel or just get the water above the surface of the earth? which fuel is more abundant? come on men this invention is excellent. hydrogen is very easy to produce and for sure it will be a lot lot lot lot cheaper than gasoline, a lot lot lotl ot less destruction for our great planet.

  • bigthaha1 says:

uh srry xxdome2xx but ur an absolute IDIOT its a HYDROGEN powered car and hydrogen is the most abundant element in the world… it will NEVER run out….. ur done

  • Chosenby1 says:

what absolutely makes me sick to my stomach about all this, is that these auto companies could have offered better mpg cars 20 years ago, and they didn’t because they don’t give a damn about us consumers. Only reason they are doing it now is because of the dying economy and the fact that they have to save their own neck.

  • ajloder10 says:

Amen to that! And they also are looking bad to the consumers because they continue to produce vehicles which are inefficient, non-innovative, and expensive. If you look into the overseas markets for vehicles, it will blow your mind. At least they’re doing something now though…
